So… I Bought Way Too Many of These 😂
A while ago, I lost one of my teeth.
And honestly, I didn’t realize how much one missing tooth could bother me until it actually happened. Smiling felt awkward, eating felt weird, and then I started looking into getting it fixed…
Yeah. Dental work is EXPENSIVE.
So while I was searching around for something temporary, I found these little thermal forming tooth beads.
At first I was definitely skeptical.
You basically put them in hot water, they soften up, then you mold them into the shape you need. It sounded almost too simple.
But I tried it anyway.
And… I actually loved it.
It helped fill the gap enough that I felt way more comfortable smiling again, and once I figured out how to shape it properly, it looked surprisingly natural.
Then my dad saw mine.
He’s also missing a tooth, so of course he was like:
“Wait… where did you get that?”
I gave him some to try too.
A little hot water, a little shaping, a few adjustments…
And there he was, smiling again.
Best part?
He called me later and told me he was eating bread with it 😂
That genuinely made my day.
So naturally, I thought:
“Okay, maybe I should keep some of these around.”
Apparently my definition of “some” was…
1,000 kits.
Yep.
I may have gotten slightly carried away. 😂
So instead of having boxes of tooth beads sitting around forever, I figured I’d put them up here and let other people try them too.
Why I Like Them
They’re simple, moldable, and don’t require some complicated setup.
Just soften the beads in hot water, shape them carefully, let them cool, and adjust until you get a fit you’re comfortable with.
They’re especially handy when you want a temporary cosmetic solution for a missing or damaged-looking tooth without immediately spending a fortune.
A Few Things to Know
This is a temporary cosmetic tooth repair product, not permanent dental treatment.
It may take a couple of tries to get the shape right the first time — totally normal.
Take your time molding it, use small amounts, and adjust gradually.
Once you get the hang of it, it’s actually pretty satisfying.
Anyway…
That’s the story.
I lost a tooth.
I found this weird little product.
My dad tried it.
He started eating bread again.
And somehow I ended up with 1,000 of them.
So here we are. 😂
If you’ve been hiding your smile because of a missing tooth and just want a simple temporary option, this might be worth a try.
Grab one while I still have way too many.
